A COMPLETE INTERVIEW WITH THE MASTER IGNACIO, WHERE WE WILL KNOW ABOUT HIS ORIGINS, EXPERIENCE AND HE WILL GIVE MANY TIPS FOR THE STUDENTS.
Ignacio Hernandez invites us to know the wonderful world of the Accordion. In this course you will learn basic performance techniques, interpretive resources and traditional songs. This complete course is designed for beginners who want to start in the Accordion and for those who want to correct their technique and take it to a professional level.
E-masters offers you a complete class in high definition, with informative graphic material of sheet music, notes and rhythmic figures, to enhance your learning process.
Ignacio Hernandez has developed, deftly, on different instruments from an early age, but it is in the Accordion that he delivers all its endless energy, in a unique way, developing a very complete performance method. This neatness led him to create the first National Accordion Conservatory of Chile. This institution forms prepared musicians for performance and interpretation of this versatile instrument, professionalizing the field and delivering tools collected in all his musical journey.
From a very young age, he was part of bands related to folklore, integrating this instrument into Chilean and Latin American music, being also one of the largest promoters of urban Chilean “Cueca”. Within his projects and collaborations we can mention: Los Chenitas, Héctor Pavez Pizarro, Los Santiaguinos, Daniel Muñoz and Los Marujos and Las Capitalinas among others.
Ignacio is one of those responsible for the rebirth of the Accordion within Latin American popular music, as well as its connection with the world, through its participation as a partner and jury of the CMA, World Accordion Confederation.
Hernandez has won major international awards:
- 1st place in the Latin American Accordion Competition, Brazil 2005
- 1st place in the South American Accordion Competition, Argentina 2012
- 4th place in the World Accordion Competition, Italy 2012.
His formal studies include the piano at the Modern Music School of Chile and development as an accordionist in Europe and Brazil, knowledge that he always wants to spread. Today all that knowledge is concentrated in this series of videos for the website: E-Masters.
